I hate the feeling of being sick. Cos i can't get any work done. I end up sleeping most of the time due to the drowsiness. I was supposed to have completed my ICT assignment by now. I havent even start typing it out..haiz I just hope to recover soon so I can get my assignments done according to schedule.
.
I got a phonecall from raffles medical customer support just now. The day before, they sms-ed me asking if I would recommend their services to other people and I blatantly replied "no". Didnt expect them to do a follow-up by contacting me. So the person asked why I gave such feedback. I explained to him the kind of service I got when I went to the clinic at tampines junction branch last wednesday.
.
I wasnt satisfied at all with the service that the clinic assistant provided. Being a first-timer visiting the clinic, I wasnt sure of the procedures as where to place the doctor's prescription and all. So, after my consultation with the doctor, I politely walked up to the counter and asked the assistant where should I place the prescriptions. Wah, she ignored me la, didnt even acknowledge my existence. She continued staring at the computer monitor and typing away. The second time I asked, I raised my voice a bit cos I was very pissed already. Given my sick condition, coughing and nausea, she was clearly testing my patience. Lucky she responded the second time I asked. Then, I noticed another person who walked up to the counter to make an enquiry. She replied w/o any eye-contact, "Sorry sir, I'm very busy typing some important data. Could you hold on?" I was like what the hell, we all do respect that you are busy with your work la, but you're working in the service line. Customers do come first ahead of other things. What is so difficult about spending like 5 seconds answering the query? So yah, I told the customer support officer about my experience and he went on to ask if I could identify this person involved. Truthfully, I cant remember her name or the colour of her uniform. But sad to say its a malay la. And I think there's only one malay clinic asst on duty that day.
.
Nash and Idzy also shared their experiences with bad customer service they had at Levi's and pasar Geylang. Sampai suruh boycott that kedai yg jual tudung near the pasar..haha But seriously, the customer service in spore is generally bad. There are few exceptions, but yeah, generally bad. So those who are thinking of working or already working in the service sector, pls la, treat your customers warmly despite of your bad day. If you can't dissociate yourself with your personal life, better get a desk-bound job where you don't meet people. Really.
.
Oh yah, on a happier note, nasz passed all his modules in his recent semestral exam. So proud of him. So b, don't say you cannot study ah..You just proved that your brain is not
berkarat yet..hehe I'm glad to say that he didnt do badly for his maths module..cos I'm his maths tutor mah.. wahaha
